About Us

11Farms is a boutique flower farm in central Virginia where we take pride in delivering luxury cut flowers and plants. On the farm we grow from seed, cutting, tuber, corm, bulb, or root. We use organic methods only, which means we stay away from harmful chemicals and toxins. We utilize techniques such as soil blocking to improve root development and encourage healthier plants. We are also a part of a network of growers and providers in Central Virginia, enabling 11 Farms to deliver a more comprehensive inventory to clients.

It all started with a spider plant .....

In 2014, with my youngest children away for the summer, I needed something to care for. So, I went to the local nursery and purchased a spider plant. That one plant became many as I discovered the joy of propagation. What began as a hobby has now blossomed into a passion. Each one of my plants carries a story, a bit of my heart and a piece of the earth with it.

I believe flowers have the incredible power to bring happiness and comfort. Whether it is a bouquet for a loved one, a beautiful arrangement to brighten your home, or a KA’s™ "Unicorn" dahlia to add to your garden, each bloom adds joy to our lives.

I am deeply committed to organic methods and sustainable farming, ensuring that every plant is grown with love and respect for the environment. As you explore the offerings at 11 Farm, you will find a diverse array of blooms which have been hand-tended and cared for.

We are a licensed seller of Santa Cruz Dahlias™. Their trademarked varieties can be freely grown, multiplied, traded, or donated. Growers can freely sell the cut flowers. They can freely harvest and share or sell seeds. Customers who purchase trademarked varieties may not sell cuttings, tubers, or plants without a trademark license from Santa Cruz Dahlias™.

Bev's Ice Cream & Café in Cary Street is a longstanding Richmond favorite for premium New England-style ice cream, sweets, and coffee dating back to '98. The menu features something for everyone, from dairy-free sorbet to vegan flavors, baked goods, and coffee creations.
